LEAPING, TOGETHER
two-day durational performance at Museum of Art and History Lancaster
February 21-22, 2026
For two days, I sat amidst my solo show and knit elastic cording. The knitting references bungee jumping, an umbilical cord, and a weighted jump rope. I asked members of the audience “What are you leaping from?” and “What are you leaping towards?”
After each person sat beside me and answered the questions What are you leaping from? What are you leaping towards? I taught them to leap. Then, sometimes hand in hand, we leapt. You cannot be unhappy while leaping. It’s impossible. View the video below.
